Office-to-Evening Outfit Guide: Three Tailored Looks

Updated October 19, 2026

A working day that ends with dinner does not need two complete outfits. Start with a foundation that meets your workplace dress code, then change one layer, your shoes or your accessories. These three formulas use current Le Réussi pieces and our own product photographs. Shoes, bags and jewelry mentioned below are styling suggestions; they are not included.

Look 1: a navy dress, from meetings to dinner

The Camille Dress in Navy

The foundation: The Camille Dress in Navy, $395. The tonal jacquard gives navy depth without a bold surface print. It is made to order in Houston, with an estimated 1–3 weeks of production before shipment.

  • Office: add a structured blazer, a work tote and loafers or low pumps. Check that the neckline, length and coverage suit your workplace.
  • Evening: remove the blazer, exchange the tote for a smaller bag, and add earrings or a different shoe. The dress stays the foundation.
  • More relaxed plans: choose flats and keep accessories minimal.

Use the dress’s fit notes and your measurements before choosing a size. If a jacket is part of your plan, check movement through the shoulders and arms with both layers on. Care: professional dry clean only.

Look 2: black tailoring with a change of blouse

The foundation: Noémie Blazer, $485, with Noémie Slim Pants, $250. Both are ready to ship in the available sizes.

Office: add the Élodie white Pleated Blouse, $255, and a simple shoe. The white pleating adds texture while the black separates hold the outfit together.

Evening: change into the Isabelle Silk Blouse, $300, or keep your blouse and change only your bag and jewelry. Royal-blue charmeuse silk gives the same tailoring a different mood. Each item is sold separately; choose sizes individually.

Care differs by piece: the blazer calls for professional dry cleaning, the silk blouse recommends professional dry cleaning, and the Élodie blouse allows a cold gentle wash followed by hanging to dry. Follow each garment label.

Look 3: bronze separates for an occasion-led day

The Remi Trouser — Burnished Bronze

The foundation: The Solenne Blouse — Burnished Bronze, $325, with the The Remi Trouser — Burnished Bronze, $325. Both are made to order in Houston from Japanese-sourced fabric, with an estimated 1–3 weeks before shipment.

Daytime: keep the blouse neckline and accessories restrained, and choose footwear that balances the trouser hem. This is an option for creative workplaces, a client lunch or a daytime event; use your own dress code as the deciding factor.

Evening: add a small bag and a more expressive earring, or layer the The Réussi Blazer — Burnished Bronze, $530, for a coordinated silhouette. You can also wear one bronze piece with a neutral separate you already own. Do not assume a jacket or shoe change requires buying a whole new outfit.

Care: professional dry clean only. Confirm the trouser length with your planned footwear and contact Client Services before arranging alterations.

A five-minute transition checklist

  1. Choose your foundation before the day begins.
  2. Pack only the evening accessories you will use.
  3. Check the outfit sitting, standing and moving.
  4. Match the hem to the shoes you plan to wear.
  5. Choose a layer that works with the venue and weather.

Ready-to-ship pieces have no made-to-order production window. Only the six styles in our Made to Order collection require production; cashmere knitwear is outside that collection.
